Judging Workshop

(Held Saturday 5th July 2008)

Many people joined our judging workshop, learning how to be a judge at contests. Here, we learned how to be objective and not subjective. A skill needed in everyday life, not just in contests!

The District 72 Convention in Rotorua, (17-18 May)

What a fantastic weekend! Two days of contests, educationals, dinner and dancing.


Not a placing, but Maia - you did us proud!

12-Apr-2008 - Maia represented Area G2 - six Christchurch clubs. It was a very fine speech.

Those that weren't there missed out on a fantastic day!

Richard Moffat, Area Governor G2 and Immediate Past President,
also enjoyed chairing the Evaluation contest.

13-Mar-2008 - Maia Toa did it! He won the Area G2 International Speech contest.

Stephen Ede also did very well getting third place in the Evaluation contest.

and Stephen Ede for winning the club Speech Evaluation contest.
